STEP 1: PUT TOGETHER A STUDY GUIDE FOR EXAM 2.
In doing so, review, gather, and organize all the information that we have covered so far that you find worthy of being on the upcoming exam.
This exam will be over everything we have studied since Exam 1 (except psych disorders)
- Stress and Health Psychology
- Sensation and Perception
- Personality- Freud
- States of Consciousness
- Intro to States of Consciousness
- Sleep
The bolded areas will have the largest number of questions addressing them on Exam 2.
THIS STUDY GUIDE WILL BE YOUR KEY TO ANY EXAM PREP MATERIAL (a study topics list) FROM ME :).
The easiest way to complete this assignment is to type up your notes, organizing them in the best way possible, highlighting key terms and definitions. At times challenge yourself to put things in your own words, share your own understanding/way of describing or explaining the concept. When needed, do some additional research and reading on the topic and include that supportive content. Include your own little memory joggers, like "hey think about this" (even if it is silly) or "this always makes me think of my brother and...." If you want to make your study guide in notecard form, that would work too. Regardless, be thorough.
THOROUGH, ORGANIZED, AND ACCURATE IS THE KEY!
Advice from a learning framework textbook on how to complete this portion of the study process: "As I reviewed the modules online, the videos and readings, and my notes, each time I came across what I found difficult, particularly important, or information the professor had hinted might be covered on the exam, I stopped and thought about that information for a moment, reflecting on it a bit and going over it in my head, and then wrote it down on the yellow sheet. I also wrote down important names, dates, theories, and lists that I suspected I really needed to know."

STEP 2: EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY. NOT REQUIRED. COMPOSE YOUR OWN MINI EXAM AND ANSWER KEY! This is what you believe the exam should really be! The mini exam must be (minimum) 20 questions long. Can you put together the best exam? See if one of your questions ends up on the actual exam!!! You'll basically be a published author and you'll definitely earn extra credit! (I am more likely to include multiple choice or true/false questions than short answer or essay questions on the exam.)
