Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Programming at Collin College

MBSR training is available starting the 5th week of the Fall and Spring semesters. MBSR courses are mentored by faculty and require an 8-week commitment with once-weekly meetings lasting about an hour. MBSR courses end in the 12th week of the semester, upon which you will be asked to produce a brief summary of your experiences and what you learned during the MBSR course.
The course is called Opening to Our Lives, and is lead by world-renowned mindfulness teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn.
At this time, this is only for students currently enrolled in at least one hour of coursework at Collin College.
Applications for fall open on September 9th, 2022.
