HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

This advising module was created to be used in both face-to-face and online courses. This module can take the place of a 50-75 minute lecture or serve as supplemental material - Your Choice.

There are 9 learning components, provided in sequential order. In addition to a short video, each learning component also includes links to online resources as well as 1-3 practice quiz questions.

OPTIONS:

As a supplementary material to a classroom presentation by an advisor. Students may navigate back and forth between the information, in any order they choose.
As a stand-alone lesson: It is suggested that you add requirements to this module in order to make sure students are navigating through each of the lesson items. You have choices of requiring students to view each video and/or complete any practice quiz questions provided after each video. HERE are instructions on how to add requirements to a module.
Graded Quiz. The last step in this module rolls up an assortment of 20 of the 22 practice questions into a graded quiz. You may use this quiz as a stand-alone test after an in-class presentation or keep it as a part of the full, online module.
